"Numb" (2019)

Acrylic, ink and gold pigment on cotton canvases

'Is it possible for a person to get so used to heartbreaks to the point where they can no longer feel the churning of their stomach or the aching sensation of their heart?

The face starts to fade.

The voice,

The touch.

You've finally gotten used to being alone again,

Until you find yourself getting annoyed over blood-stained sheets, spilt milk and your own reflection on the mirror while you're getting ready for another first date.

Numb, you'll never be the same you again.

Just Numb, you'll never feel the same way again."
